Loftness Snowblower

Snowblower by loftness. This is one of their heavier duty models. It's the 1082H with 108 inches of cutting width (9ft wide 4ft tall mouth). This blower was special ordered from the factory to run on hydraulic pressure instead of a three point hitch on a farm tractor. It takes 50 gpm and 3000 psi to run this beast. I believe it weighs around 3300 pounds with the quick attach and hydraulic motor modifications. This video shows it running on hydraulic power to prove that it is operational. There were no leaks or problems. The hydraulic motor is made in Italy and is solid. The blower chute has been removed and is sitting on the snow blower in this video for shipping and storage purposes.

Cub cadet and Honda Snowblowers

I finally got the time to put the snowblower on our 1971 cub cadet 127, just in time for a little storm we got, giving us around 5 inches of powder. It was perfect stuff for the single stage blower on the cub cadet. My dad suggested we bring out the Honda too, and test it out with the brand new V belt that was installed the day before.
